RouteBundle

What we do with what you tell us.

RouteBundle asks people to describe travel they expect to make. That is personal information, so here is plainly what happens to it. This page describes how things actually work today, not how they might work later.

What you send us

Five or six lines, and your email address.

A declaration is a route, roughly how many round trips a year, why you make the trip, roughly what you pay, who pays, and which airline you usually fly. Your email address comes along with it because you send it by email.

We do not ask for exact dates, a payment method, a card, a date of birth, or a home address, and there is no reason to send those. If you include something we did not ask for, we remove it.

The part that matters most

Travel sellers only ever see route totals.

The whole point of RouteBundle is to put a route in front of an airline or travel seller as a single number. That number is an aggregate: how many travelers, how many round trips, how much estimated annual spend, and the spread of answers on things like flexibility and lead time.

Your name, your email address, and your individual answers are not part of it, and are not shared with any airline, travel seller, agency, employer, school, or the person who forwarded you the link.

What we do with it

We count it, and we email you about your route.

That is the complete list. We do not send unrelated marketing, and there is no newsletter.

What we do not do

We do not sell it or pass it on.

Where it lives right now

An inbox, because there is no product yet.

RouteBundle is pre-launch. There is no account system and no database. Declarations arrive as ordinary email at hello@routebundle.com, which forwards to the founder's own mailbox, and they are read by one person.

When the application exists, declarations will move into it and this page will be updated to say where they are held and who processes them — before that happens, not after.

Removing it

Ask us and we delete it.

Write to hello@routebundle.com and say you want your declaration removed. We delete the email and the entry, and keep no copy. You can also ask what we hold for you, and we will send it back.

Route totals that have already been reported to a seller cannot be un-reported, but they contain no information about you individually, so nothing about you persists in them.

Children

Adults only, including when declaring for a student.

RouteBundle is for adults. A parent can declare trips on behalf of a student in the household — that is one of the routes we expect most — and in that case we hold the parent's contact details, not the student's.
